False Prophets

Definition:  Individuals and organizations proclaiming messages that they attribute to a superhuman source but that do not originate with the true God and are not in harmony with his revealed will.

Matt. 7:21-23  “Not every-one saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.+ 22  Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord,+ did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’+ 23  And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’

Workers of Lawlessness

That’s a powerful statement!  So how can you tell the difference between someone who is using the Bible to manipulate you to do their biding, and a true Minister of God?  For one thing, the glory goes to God, and not the one speaking of Him.  In fact, those professing to be doing God’s will for you but does not love God, and does not study His word with the intention of becoming a competent teacher, cannot possibly be doing God’s will on your behalf at all!  For example, should you see someone talking to you about God, who dresses like a Rebel, and is holding a cigarette in one hand, and a beer in the other, does not set the example for you, and you should turn and walk away from them…

Indeed true Ministers of God’s will pray for God to feed them the right words, study the Bible on a constant basis, pray long and hard for you, has a personal relationship with our redeemer, and does not waver from his/her devotion toward you!  They will always allow you to express your opinion, and use real examples from your everyday life to explain why certain things said in The Bible are worded just the way they are, so you may better relate to and understand it. For instance, did you know that The Old Testament has been superseded by The New Testament?  Now: ‘An eye for an eye’  becomes  ‘Turn the other cheek’.

God does not condemn us that we live in sin.  He understands our condition, and only seeks to encourage us to do right instead of condemning us when we do wrong.  Fear is an old Catholic motivator.  However, God doesn’t want you to come to Him out of fear, rather, because we love Him and are made to fully realize that He loved us first.

They’re all around you

They’re always trying to sway you with fancy high filutn’ words when a simplification is the real key to understanding!  There’s a guy, all dressed in black, and looks more like he’d be attending to your Funeral than your Resurrection.  He always goes and retrieves cartons of cigarettes for Leslie, where-as I keep trying to encourage her about the benefits of quiting.  So he’s there undoing my work behind my back, which really means in front of you if you think about it.  Backwards as backwards can be.

He’s kind of like a Salesman seeking your approval by offering you a car built for safety and reliability, but really, you know, and I know cars are made out of plastic now, and are about as safe, and reliable as the Police who arrest you for driving without a seat-belt.  C’mon now!  Think about it.  If you’re driving around in a plastic death trap, what good is a seat belt going to really do you?  The whole thing would just crumple with you in it!   This is no way to come flying into The Kingdom God is establishing on Earth as I speak.  What good will that do you in Hades (the grave), waiting to be judged, when God promised us (The Last Generation) life?

So what this ‘guy’ wants you to believe, is that he’s doing you an act of kindness when he’s really helping to sign your death warrant.  In effect, he’s really playing on your weaknesses.  That, is not God’s will for you!  And that’s why not every-one saying ‘Lord, Lord!’ will get into the Kingdom.  In fact, Ministers of God’s word are the ones who are most accountable to God for what they say or do for you.  So you see?   We really have to know our stuff!
