2015 Trend: Diagnosing Disease through DNA

“This is the year that next-generation sequencing has come of age. We are gradually moving away from using it exclusively as a powerful research tool and we are starting to use it in the clinic. Detailed genetic analysis does not need to be done at large genomic centers anymore.  Small clinical, research, and public health laboratories can do it too.”

— Charles Chiu, PhD, director of UCSF Viral Diagnostics and Discovery Center

  1. hey D dust off your camera theres a bright blue and red asteroid outside tonite. its amazing. i tried to get a pic and a video but my camera is mostly good for macro not far away. have fun hope you get a good shot with your equiptment. i got a video of a unidentifed flying object before a couple years back i still havae the vvideo i sent a copy to a scientiest guy at the time.

    • I took a look with my binoculars (Made by : ‘Pinocchio’). and it stayed as a bright dot. My camera’s longest lens is 300 mm. which is just on the lower end of telephoto. The binoculars are more powerful. So all I’d get is a dot. You’d need a 10 inch scope like my A-Hole American cousin stole from me to get her piano out of hawk… That was $10,000 down the drain. I’d hoped to launch a career with that :O(

So what about the UFO? Did he identify it?
